 We offer many junior golf programs for all ages
and abilities. In addition to the
Ultimate Junior Golf Camp, The Highlands has various summer camps for Toddlers (ages 3-5), Children (ages
6-8) and Young Adults (ages 9 & up). We offer quality golf
instruction in the Charlottesville, Va. area with junior golf camps that emphasize skill development, fun, teamwork and self-confidence.
The Toddlers Classes meet once a week (for 1 hour) for 4 weeks.
The program is designed as a fun way for kids to be introduced to golf. It
is open to boys & girls and the class ratio is 5:1. Clubs are provided for
use during the lessons - if interested, the Highlands also sells U.S. Kids Clubs
(fit nicely to size & weight of child).
The camps for Children are offered 2 different weeks during the summer.
The camp goes for 1 1/2 hours from Tues. - Fri. Both morning and
afternoon/evening sessions are available. The camps are open to boys &
girls - the maximum teacher:student ratio is 7:1.
The Young Adult camp is also a weeklong day camp (from Tues. thru Fri.).
Ages 9 & up meet from 9:00 - 11:00am. Young adult participants receive instruction on all facets of the
game including putting, chipping, full swing, irons, woods, sand, rules &
etiquette and more!!
 Camps
are conducted in a positive, highly motivating environment with a very good
Teacher:Student ratio. It is not necessary for children to have their own
golf clubs - the Highlands provides clubs to use during the lessons, if
necessary. All junior golfers will receive a camp souvenir and various
awards/prizes.
